I wouldn’t live in San Francisco forever, but a few months would be perfect. It’s such a well-loved place that I can barely think of any “original” reasons why I feel so strongly about it. I guess, apart from its diverse community and its air that seems to carry inspiration throughout the city, it also seems to be the perfect place to live on your own. I could work at some independent bookstore part-time while spending my free time trying to create “art”. I don’t know. I wish I could paint because that would be perfect! A starving artist living alone in a studio apartment in San Francisco. Sounds like a character off a book already.
